It's the tree of Eden? Eating the fruit of the tree caused us to lose our ignorance and have our eyes opened to the knowledge of Good and Evil, which damaged them from the original state that God had created (hence "A Damaged Mind.")

But that loss of ignorance brought upon the age of enlightenment and science, which gave us our cities and understanding of the cosmos, but weakened religion's grip upon our lives, hence the Tree of Eden is burning.

That's what I get out of it, excellent work!

As a matter of fact, it is the biblical tree of knowledge. :D

However the outcome is what people tend to miss in this piece. XD

Humanity has done quite the fine job recently of screwing things up. :D
